The security Camera.
There is a security camera used in the opening title sequence. this shows the main scientist the first indication that the thing, Project Grimdark, has infact got out.
To make the footage look like an security camera, I will need to first make the footage black and white. This shows that the systems are quite old, because newer security systems can film in colour, also the iconic security cameras in films are always black and white. Then I need to overlay static on top of the systems, just to show more that the systems are old.
Security cameras never cleanly cut from scene to scene, so there need to be a thick slot of static between each of the different footages.
Finally there is usually a code and time on each of the footages, so it matches up to the system that the cameras are using and what time the filming took place. So our footage will need a code and time on just to authentic.
