To make the perfect storyboard there are a few things that you will need to do. They are:
This is so the audience can tell what is happening through the pictures, or if you haven't drawn up the shot, the description should tell the story. Labelling the shot means that others can do the filming of your story board correctly, also it will test if you know what the shots are exactly.
Below is a good example of a storyboard:
- Sketching the shot that you will have
- Labelling the shot that you have drawn, so saying the angle and shot
- Describing what is in the shot

If you don't follow the three simple steps, you will end up with a terrible storyboard because it will either contain no shots, no pictures or your storyboard readers won't understand it. If you use all the steps, the readers should be able to follow what you were planning in the storyboard.
